Someone Greater Than Jonah

We've all been there, when we had Jonah illustration 2to so something we really, really didn't want to do.  Serving God in our families, workplaces, communities, and church isn't always what we would consider glorified work.  It involves making sacrifices, bearing with each other's idiosyncracies and faults, and lots of forgiveness.  Sometimes God will "gift" us with a particularly difficult and unpleasant task, but through it all God will surprise with grace bigger than all our problems.  In sending His Son Jesus Christ to calm troubled seas of life, we see how high and wide and deep the powerful grace of God extends.

Join us as we reflect on the prophet Jonah and the gift of Jesus Christ forshaddowed in his narrative.  Also come early for a soup supper at 5:30 p.m.
